Our fees will be detailed and itemised on your loan agreement.

These will include:

  • A Dealer Origination fee (presently $260)
  • Finance Establishment fee (presently $100)
  • PPSR Security Fee (presently $18.90)
  • Warranty Cover (there are a range of these fees $650 – $950 depending on the vehicle) a general mechanical warranty on terms and conditions specified in that document for a period as negotiated, with an excess of $250 to be paid by the customer
  • Default fee (presently $25)
  • A Facility fee of $5 per week as long as your balance is in debit
  • A Letter fee of $25 is charged to your account any time you request a statement of your account that we are not required to send you
  • A Letter fee of $30 anytime that we have to write to you with regard to a missed payment or in relation to any other default
  • A Communication fee of $5 any time we have to telephone, email or text message you with regarding to a missed payment /s or in regard to any other default you commit under this agreement.
  • A fee of $1 per day may apply from the time you fail to make a due payment until the arrears (including all interest at the default rate, default fees and all monies payable by reason of or in relation to such failure to comply) are paid. The daily default fees may be charged to your account on the same day and on the same frequency as the default interest is charged.
  • Current interest rates are 27.9%
  • Penalty interest of 36%

Please remember to email sue@vehiclesalesfinance.co.nz with your supporting documents. The supporting documents required are:

  1. Copy of full application (to be completed)
  2. Copy of your two latest payslips
  3. and/or copy of your WINZ breakdown
  4. Proof of address, i.e. your phone bill or your power bill – If you are in a Housing Corp home we prefer the front page of your tenancy agreement as proof of address
  5. Latest 30 days of bank statements
  6. Copy of your driver’s license and or your passport (we must have photo ID)
  7. Employment details (if applicable)

We try to make the process easy, but at the same time we are mindful that your budget has to allow for the costs of running and maintaining the vehicle that we supply, not just the weekly loan repayment. All vehicles must be insured, we are able to arrange cover in most instances.

Furthermore we acknowledge that your circumstances may change from time to time so please keep us updated on changes that may affect your ability to service your loan with us. If things are becoming difficult for you to make your payments we would rather that you contact us and make a payment arrangement than not – which may lead to repossession of your vehicle.
